CARE & SERVICE
Use is the best form of care.
Leather changes with light, temperature, touch, and habit. It does not need constant treatment: keep it dry, avoid extreme conditions, and use small amounts of the right care only when needed.
01 / CARE
Everyday care
- Regular use
- A gentle wipe with a clean, dry, soft cloth is usually enough. Light friction and natural oils from regular use will gradually give vegetable-tanned leather its own lustre.
- If it gets wet
- Blot moisture promptly with a dry cloth without rubbing. Keep the original shape and let the piece dry naturally in a cool, ventilated place; do not use a hair dryer, heater, or direct sun.
- Long-term storage
- Empty the piece, lightly support its shape with acid-free paper or soft fabric, and store it in a breathable dust bag away from damp, heat, and strong light. Do not seal it in plastic for long periods.
- Care products
- Different leathers react differently. Test a small amount in an inconspicuous area first; ask the atelier before treating suede, pull-up leather, or specially finished hides.
02 / DELIVERY
Making & delivery
- Ready-to-ship pieces
- These are usually dispatched within three business days after payment is confirmed. Public holidays, severe weather, or remote areas may add time. V1 delivery is limited to valid addresses within mainland China.
- Pre-order & bespoke
- Timing is confirmed separately according to the leather, construction, and workshop schedule. Any estimate shown or agreed before ordering is a guide and does not include carrier transit time.
- Tracking
- After dispatch, the carrier and tracking number will be provided through order lookup or the contact details left with the order. Please keep recipient details accurate and the phone available.
- Packaging
- Each piece is packed for basic dust, compression, and moisture protection according to its construction. We minimise unnecessary composite materials while retaining the protection required in transit.
03 / AFTERCARE
Receipt & aftercare
- Check on receipt
- Please inspect the piece and packaging promptly. For an incorrect item, transit damage, or an evident making issue, keep the packaging and photo or video records, then contact the atelier through the bespoke enquiry page.
- Natural variation
- Natural grain, reasonable tonal variation, traces of handwork, and changes in colour or lustre after use are not quality defects.
- Returns & exchanges
- Unused standard ready-to-ship goods are handled according to applicable law and the published conditions. Personalised work such as monograms, altered dimensions, or specified leather will usually not qualify for change-of-mind returns; quality issues remain covered.
- Repair enquiry
- Provide purchase details, an overall photograph, close-ups of the issue, and a short use history. After assessment, the atelier will explain feasibility, estimated cost, timing, and shipping arrangements.
This is demonstrative V1 policy copy. Before trading publicly, it must be reviewed and updated for the actual operator, mainland-China delivery area, carrier arrangements, and applicable law.
